Jacob took swim lessons for the very first time. He had so much fun in the water. He definitely is fearless in the water. He jumps in by himself. |

Merry Christmas
This is Christmas Eve. Camilla and Jacob got to open one gift which were new pajamas which they are wearing.
We were able to spend Christmas in California at Grandpa and Grandma Wynder's home. Camilla and Jacob were able to have so much fun with their cousins.

Camilla's luau birthday party
Camilla wanted a luau for a birthday party. It was supposed to be a swim party, but it rained and we were unable to go to the pool. She had a fun time anyways with her friends. She had a flip flop cake and gave out candy leis as the party favor.

Black raspberry and cherry pickin'
Last year and this year we have ventured to Hartland Orchard in Markham, VA for cherry and black raspberry picking. The orchard is about an hour from our house. This year we had to pay an entrance fee to get to the sweet cherries, so I went to get those while Richard, Camilla, and Jacob picked pie cherries.
This picture is from last year. We seem to have not taken any pictures this year.
Yum-O! It seems that noone in our family, except me, likes cherry pie. So I ate most of the pie. Cherry pie for breakfast for a week!
So we also picked black raspberries. I think most of us got poked by some thorns while picking them, but it was worth it. Black raspberry freezer jam!
Camilla was such a great helper in making the black raspberry freezer jam. She spooned a lot of the jam into the little jars.
Jacob is enjoying the jam!

Luray Caverns
On May 28th, we went to the Luray Caverns. We were able to see some amazing stalagtites and stalagmites. Jacob and Camilla were a bit scared to go into to the dark cave. Jacob thought that the rocks were teeth and he wanted to be held the whole time. Richard and Camilla were our photographers for the trip and they took some amazing pictures.
On the way home, we stopped at Hartland Orchard and picked some strawberries. This is where we also pick apples in the fall and cherries in June.
We had a long, fun, tiring day!
